Body of dog suffering tumours found inside suitcase dumped near Glasgow railway
The body of an emaciated dog was found inside a suitcase by a railway worker near a train line in Glasgow.
The staff member, who was fixing repairs in the area, spotted the blue suitcase among shrubbery near Glenmuir Drive in Glasgow on March 2.
SSPCA officers attended after a strong smell was noted coming from the case. The body of a female crossbreed was found inside, wrapped in blankets and towels.

Scottish SPCA inspector, Isla Bell, said: “If anyone recognises this dog or has any information that could help us piece together what happened to her, we would ask that they contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
