Royal sources are sharing an insight into where Prince Harry and some members of the British Royal Family currently stand following the release of excerpts from his upcoming memoir, “Spare.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, an insider claimed that the former working royal knows his personal revelations via his book “have crossed a line.”
A second source also told the publication that the book, which will hit shelves on Tuesday, “is deeply upsetting” to King Charles III. Although the material is said to have gone easier on the new monarch, the Duke of Sussex “still makes jabs at his father.”
Meanwhile, the first insider added in the exchange that “no one in the family trusts Harry anymore.”
Even so, the publication noted that it has learned what the British Monarch desires moving forward. As claimed, he would still like to mend his relationship with his youngest son, adding that he hopes to heal the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.
But, a new report has revealed that the Prince of Wales is “burning with anger” over the claims the Duke of Sussex has made in his memoir.
Citing a report from The Times, TMZ said royal sources made the assertions to the outlet, which first published them on Saturday. As stated, the future King is silent but burning inside.
TMZ continued that, per the new report, Prince Harry might get “written out of the script” for King Charles III’s coronation this May. But while he may not have a role in the ceremony, it is claimed that he may still attend the historical event.
The publication also cited a follow-up tweet from Roya Nikkhah of The Times, writing, “I can also reveal that Prince Harry has been written out of the script for the Coronation, with no official role in the service if he attends.”
It continues, “Breaking with tradition, Charles will scrap royal dukes kneeling and paying homage to the monarch. Only William will perform that role.”
Officially, though, members of the British Royal Family have yet to make comments on the matter. They have also maintained their silence with regard to the rest of the former working royal’s claims in his upcoming memoir, “Spare.”
Despite the silence, ABC News noted that British newspapers and websites have been quoting unnamed sources and insiders, rebutting the accusations from Prince Harry.
In its report, published Sunday, the outlet referenced what veteran journalist Jonathan Dimbleby told BBC about the matter.
As reported, he told the outlet that the revelations the Duke of Sussex has made in his memoir were the ones “you’d expect… from a sort of B-list celebrity,” reportedly adding that King Charles III would be pained and frustrated by the claims.
“Spare” will become available from January 10, 2023.
