Regional School Office for Emilia-Romagna, Microsoft And Lenovo today they are launching an experimental project to foster digital innovation in lower secondary schools in Emilia-Romagna.

The collaboration follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed between USR and the two companies and provides, on the one hand, the introduction in classrooms of new technologies and digital tools Lenovo notebooks with Windows 10 and Lenovo Explorer Virtual Reality viewers and, on the other hand, a training program for teachers and school staff with Microsoft experts, focused on Office365 and Minecraft: Education Edition.

The initiative aims to help schools integrate the use of new technologies in teaching, making it more interactive and personalized, thus encouraging the dissemination of digital skills. The use of new technologies also makes it possible to innovate teaching.

The experimentation started today at three educational institutions: the Comprehensive Institute of Castiglione dei Pepoli, Camugnano and San Benedetto, the Comprehensive Institute n. 3 of Modena and the Montanari secondary school of Mirandola, for a total of 100 students involved. The Marconi Service of the Regional School Office for Emilia-Romagna, in turn, will take care of the training of the teaching staff involved.
